Microsoft has extended its Field Service capabilities with Dynamics 365 (online) to provide a complete Field Service solution, including location based services, customers asset management, preventative maintenance, work order management, resource scheduling, products inventory management, scheduling & dispatch, mobility, collaboration, customer billing, and analytics.

Dynamics 365 for Field Service solution helps you to:

  • Optimize the schedule of services: with state of the art routing, resource skill measuring & matching you can reduce the travel time of sending technicians to fix issues on location based sites.
  • Decent Work order management: Work orders can be generated quickly to gather all of the information you need to send field agents to service locations.
  • State of the Art Schedule board and dispatcher: A drag-and-drop enabled schedule board allows dispatchers to assign resources and manage schedules for multiple work orders using a multi-functional list or map view.
  • Resource Scheduling: Configure resource information to allow Field Service to efficiently match the best field agent to a work order based on availability, proximity to service location, and required skills.
  • Location based Services and customer assets: Store and manage information about your customers’ service locations and serviceable customer assets.
  • Preventative maintenance: Configure service agreements for your customers that will automatically generate recurring work orders to ensure equipment is properly maintained before issues occur.
